2025年9月13日（土）から10月13日（月・祝）までの1ヶ月間、群馬県中之条町では現代アートの祭典「中之条ビエンナーレ」が開催されます。これと並行して、姉妹館LULUD（ルルド）を会場に、新たな芸術運動体「UI（ユーアイ）」が初めての試みとして始動します。

中之条町は自然豊かな温泉地として知られ、四万温泉や沢渡温泉など観光スポットも多数。アート鑑賞とあわせて温泉巡りや地元グルメも楽しめるのが、このイベントの大きな魅力です。歴史ある温泉街の散策と、現代アートとの出会いを組み合わせた滞在は、旅の思い出をより特別なものにしてくれるでしょう。

From September 13 (Sat.) to October 13 (Mon., Holiday), 2025, the town of Nakanojo in Gunma Prefecture will host the internationally acclaimed contemporary art festival, the Nakanojo Biennale. In parallel, at Sister Hotel LULUD, a brand-new artistic initiative will make its debut: the UI (pronounced “You-Eye”) art movement.

Nakanojo is renowned for its hot springs such as Shima Onsen and Sawatari Onsen, as well as its rich natural landscapes and local cuisine. This unique event allows visitors to enjoy both art appreciation and sightseeing—strolling through historic hot spring towns while encountering innovative artworks.
